ICDL Africa has successfully conducted the Train the Trainer (TTT) programme at Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) in Arusha,Tanzania.
This is for the first time in the history of ICDL program in Tanzania a public institute of higher learning as hosted superior TTT training with twenty-two (22) ICT trainees at the institution participating actively at the three day’s event.
The programme had a focus on the practical side of training that presented a good opportunity for participants to actively engage in role play and demonstrations, as well as focusing on the theoretical elements of the training plans. The training was delivered by the ICDL Africa Programme Manager, Peter Maina. The participants were extremely happy with the training and delivery methodology, which will go a long way in helping them deliver training in a confident way.

In phase one, the twenty-two (22) participants will be ICDL certified before the 15th March 2020 to allow them train the 200 candidates that IAA has committed to in 2020. This is in line with our development plans for Tanzania market and there is a hope to increase the number of candidate registrations in the next Academic year which will be phase two.
The Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) management was extremely happy about the ICDL programme and they look forward to its full implementation starting with March 2020 intake for their graduate students.
