The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) accredited ICDL Africa as a “Foreign Examination Body” and approved the ICDL programme as a certificate level qualification in the TVETA system in Kenya.
The TVET Authority is the regulator of the TVET Sector in Kenya. TVET Authority accredited ICDL Africa as a foreign certification body recognised to offer Digtial Skills Certifications in Kenya.

This Accreditation has made it possible for TVET Institutions in Kenya to offer ICDL as both a private and public sponsored programme. ICDL Africa local office in Kenya has a strong working relationship with TVET Authority and the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions KATTI. This collaboration has been an effective way for advocacy for Digital Skills and marketing the ICDL Programmes in Kenya. ICDL Africa has over 80 Accredited Test Centers in Kenya.
The network of Test Centers covers a wide variety of sectors, including schools, technical training institutions, universities, Government institutions, NGOs and commercial training organisations.
