In 2009, The Government of Kenya recognized ICDL certification as the entry level computer certification designed to demonstrate competence in computer use.
ICDL Africa signed a Local Office Provider agreement with E-Quest that manages all the operations in Kenya. The Accredited Test Centers are spread across the country in various cities with the biggest numbers in Nairobi, Mombasa and others in the various counties.
E-Quest Office has brought on board various centers categorized into Public, Private, Education and Health sectors.
Currently, around eighty Accredited Test Centers are active in Kenya with a daily supervision of E-Quest.
