Chum International School Virtual Learning Students graduate

We wish to congratulate the group of 12 students, who graduated from Chum International School in Muyenga-Kampala, having successfully completed virtual ICDL training.

The students that began virtual training in seven ICDL modules for their ICCE (International Certificate of Christian Education) accreditation completed their set work with a lot of great relief as they praised ICDL for supporting them with the new online testing platform – Skillsbox.

Speaking to Dan Muhenda, the ICDL Africa Market Development executive in Uganda, One Blessing Mono revealed how he had thought completing ICDL training was going to take him more than a year.

“We were in the mid of classes when the country was put under lock down. The schools were closed and were used to K-place that couldn’t enable us to do testing remotely. I honestly thought we wouldn’t progress. I am so glad Skillsbox came just when we needed it most and all of us have been able to complete. I want to thank my teacher, Harrison Wabwire who did everything possible to see us move on and the school for ensuring ICDL was brought to our school. I am very excited right now that I have my certificate,” revealed Blessing as he received his certificate.
