Signing of the agreement with 3C, an ICDL Test Centre in Senegal and the Ahmed Sakhir Lô Institute in Boune, which specializes in memorizing the Holy Quran and teaching religious sciences.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday 22 at the headquarters of the institute in Boune, under the presence of its CEO Serigne Bara Niang, of the Technical Advisor Mr. Souleymane Kane, representative of the Minister of Employment, Mr. Souleymane Soumaré, Director General of ONFP, Mr. Daris Gbaguidi, representative of ICDL Afrique Francophone and Mr. Mamadou Bara SAMB, CEO of 3C.
The Ahmed Sakhir Lo institute, which started in 1995 with 2 students, now has more than 2000 boarders divided between those registered for the Holy Quran memorization course and those enrolled in the Franco-Arab school. Its founder, Serigne Bara Niang, is a great visionary and a pioneer of innovation in Koranic teaching. With the support of Certification Coaching Center, a vocational training offer is provided for residents of Daara in collaboration with the Ministry of Vocational Training and its technical arms, in particular the National Office for Vocational Training.
With this agreement signed with Daara Ahmed Sakhir Lo, 3C has the ambition to put digital technology/ICDL programs at the service of Koranic education, to ensure that Daara actors have good digital literacy and that residents have a qualifying and certifying training offer in the digital professions.
