Kampala, Uganda

The five-day training that was sponsored by Uganda Communication Commission with the aim of empowering and equipping the small-scale entrepreneurs with digital skills saw local mechanics, tailors and Salon attendants participate fully in the program.

Makerere Graduation

Makerere University is Uganda's largest and third-oldest institution of higher learning, first established as a technical school in 1922. In 1963, it became the University of East Africa, offering courses leading to general degrees from the University of London.

The trainees thanked ICDL Africa and Makerere University for bringing the training to the level of the local people. In their testimonies, they confessed to have gained a lot of knowledge and skills from the training.
