The Amhara Regional Education Bureau strives to see a civilized, developed and democratic society in the region. To provide education service and produce responsible committed and competent citizens who can contribute for the social, economic and political development of the country by addressing access, quality, equity and efficiency issues in the system with full professional and ethical commitments through active participation of the community and the development forces. ComputerAid, has offered computers to schools in Amhara region and would like to train them on how to use them using ICDL modules.
In partnership with CAI, the Bureau of Education has decided to certify 8 candidates from the Education Bureau who will also go through a training of trainers and train 75 teachers in the first semester of 2019. Currently the training of trainers in 6 ICDL modules is going on after which they will be taken through a training of trainers.
