Zimbabwe ICDL Forum

Print page

On the 15th of June Computer Society of Zimbabwe hosted a successful ICDL forum. The event started with a presentation from the Computer Society of Zimbabwe President on the Computer Society of Zimbabwe’s view on the ICDL program.

The guest of honour, ECDL CEO, Damien O’Sullivan took the delegates through the ICDL vision and the anticipation of the next 10 years as well as the direction ICDL is going. His presentation was well received by all delegates as it provided more opportunities for the growth of the program in Zimbabwe and beyond.

Another highlight of the event was an interaction with the CEO session where ATC representatives had an opportunity to ask questions to the CEO. They also commented on the ICDL program. This was a fruitful session for all.

A few of the ATCs had a chance to share their ICDL stories. At the end of the session the ATCs were encouraged to share their ICDL success stories.

The breakaway session was also useful as ATCs discussed and compared notes on why candidates are not performing well on some modules as well as the challenges they face in delivering the ICDL program.

The event ended well with renewed hope for all. It was another successful forum!
