Print page

On Friday 29th September 2017, ICDL Africa hosted 80 members of the Human Resources Managers Association of Uganda to a breakfast to discuss digital skills for the workforce. The breakfast attracted HR Managers from the both the Private and Public Sector. ICDL’s presentation primarily focused on the need to standardize digital skills training for both the internal workforce as well as the new entrants. The other part of the presentation introduced ICDL Compass as a tool that would enable organizations to better appreciate the digital skills gap. Both ICDL for workforce and Compass were well received.

A select committee of five persons was named at the event for working with ICDL to identify the appropriate digital skills profile for an HR professional. This will form Continuous Professional Development program for their membership.
