Print page

ICDL was a key part of the second annual Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutes (KATTI) conference in Mombasa in August. KATTI is a body through which all activities of
Kenyan training institutes are coordinated and regulated.

Etinick Mutinda of the ICDL team in Kenya gave a presentation titled ‘Digital Inclusion: Access, Adoption and Application’, about the role of ICDL Certification in developing a digitally inclusive society. The team were also presented with a certificate from the Ministry of Education in recognition of the role ICDL has played in enhancing the lives of Kenyan citizens.

During the conference over 40 people visited the ICDL information desk and expressed
interest to introduce ICDL certification at their institutions. This event is a milestone for efforts to forge stronger partnership with the public sector in Kenya.
